School Meals
Children have lunch in our hall and a team of Midday Supervisors look after them. Children can bring a packed lunch or order a hot meal. We offer a vegetarian choice of hot meal every day.
Packed lunches
If your child has a packed lunch, you may find these healthy lunch box ideas useful.
Please do not include fizzy drinks, chocolate or sweets in packed lunch boxes.
Hot meals
From September 2026 our school meals will be provided by PS Catering
We will be sharing sample menus and further information with families ahead of the new academic year and hope to include some opportunities for our parents/carers to sample some of PS Catering's meals.
We will be in touch with parents/carers of children who have medical dietary requirements to ensure a smooth transition.

"We are PS Catering Management Ltd and we are proud to introduce ourselves to you as the new caterers from September 2026.
We provide 3 hot meal options daily. This allows children to have maximum choice and ensures they have access to nutritious, tasty, meal options every day, that will give them the energy to keep them going throughout the school day.
We make sure that we use products when they are in season so that your children’s meals are made from only the freshest ingredients. This not only helps to support local famers but also helps to reduce our carbon footprint.
We also provide tasters every day so your children can try different foods and maybe find new flavours they love!
Details on theme days, special days and competitions are advertised in advance, on the school website, so you have plenty of time to ensure your children have lunch with us on these days.
We only purchase the most sustainable products and all our waste is recycled including our cooking oil which is converted into biofuel.
We use feedback from the children to develop our menus, after all we want children in our schools to enjoy their lunches.
If you are eligible then please apply for what is known as ‘Free School Meals’ as this provides additional funding to the school.
Great food is what we are all about whilst reducing our impact on the environment.

Booking and paying for school meals
We operate through an online cashless system. Parents can book and pay in advance for their child to have a cooked meal via ParentPay. All meal choices must be booked online by 08:30. You can now book all meals for the rest of this school year.
- KS1 meals are free but must still be booked online - please ensure your click 'confirm bookings'
- KS2 meals are £3.06

Lunchtime drinks
Free milk and water are available in the dining hall at lunchtime.
Snacks
We encourage all children to bring a healthy snack (fruit or vegetable) for mid-morning break time. Please label them as best you can.
